Do you think AlexNeptunes is AWOL?
Ever since his sweeping victory in the general elections, AlexNeptunes has rarely shown his face. Whether it be to department staff or his electors, he remains inactive. This behavior, as predicted by JasonBorneAxis’ campaign, is detrimental to the State Department’s reputation. With continued inactivity, the State Department is likely to suffer a loss in its potential and a decline in public opinion.
Who is AlexNeptunes?
AlexNeptunes is a career public servant within Ridgeway. Throughout his career, he has become notorious for his constant inactivity. From the National Guard to the State Department itself, AlexNeptunes has a well-documented record of lack of activity. He has obtained countless recorded warnings in multiple departments. Below is a chart of the number of warnings AlexNeptunes has received from each of his departments:
Agency | Recorded Warnings | Terminations |
---|---|---|
Ridgeway National Guard | 6 | 0 |
Ridgeway County Transit Authority | 3 | 0 |
Ridgeway State Police | 3 | 1 |
TOTAL | 12 | 1 |
Additionally, after investigating the DoS Commerce Registry Trello, I have discovered that AlexNeptunes has severely neglected his duties. According to the Trello Activity Archive for AlexNeptunes, the last recorded interaction was on March 5, 2023! The archive shows minimal activity, limited to actions taken solely on that day. Whether this absence of activity extends beyond this instance or has persisted since then remains unclear. With this, we can further prove that Omnilius has taken on the entire workload from this moment on while AlexNeptunes naps.
As many of you know, AlexNeptunes’ appearance during the election was sudden and surprising. After months of inactivity, AlexNeptunes emerged from hibernation and declared his candidacy for Secretary of State, challenging the incumbent JasonBorneAxis. We are puzzled with why AlexNeptunes would declare for candidacy and then instantly disappear, chatting minimally in the Ridgeway discord.
AlexNeptunes maintains his reputation of inactivity and lack of presence after his election win. Many employees of the Department of State have expressed their opinions and have scrutinized AlexNeptunes for neglecting them.
During interviews with citizens across the state, we spoke with two employees of the State Department to gauge their sentiments. Here are their responses:
A State Department employee, who has asked to remain anonymous, repeatedly expressed concern over AlexNeptunes’ inactivity and lack of direction. They pointed out his limited engagement with departmental affairs and raised questions about his ability to lead effectively. In their interview, this employee also hinted at possible reasons for AlexNeptunes’ inactivity, stating that the reason has been used by him before.
I’m out of direction, I need to know what to do. I don’t know if he’s actually done anything.
Anonymous Employee 1
Employee 2, who also has asked to remain anonymous, stated that Secretary AlexNeptunes has failed to make any contact with State Department staff and that Omnilius has completed all Commerce work since at least January of 2024.
He’s made no contact with DoS staff whatsoever. All he’s done is give people business updates access.

JasonBorneAxis’ campaign repeatedly attacked AlexNeptunes for his inactivity in his occupations and often called him out on it. And when asked why he had not fired AlexNeptunes, Mr. Axis simply responded with, “Good question.”

Additionally, our team interviewed AdamStratton, a State Senator. Unfortunately, Mr. Stratton hasn’t conversed with AlexNeptunes much but has some information to offer. The Senator hinted that an agency, the Diplomatic Security Service, has a potential bill in works that would place the agency under AlexNeptunes’ authority. Additionally, the Senator made this comment:
In a chat between us senators and him regarding a bill, he said he was dealing with some severe personal matters.
While this excuse could be valid, it troubles us that the Secretary has neglected to inform the public of his absence. Further, one of the anonymous State Department employees hinted that AlexNeptunes has frequented this excuse in the past.

Public Interviews
As mentioned before, we also interviewed members of the public. Our team asked 11 Citizens their opinions on AlexNeptunes based on set questions. Many of the responses we received showed the public’s concern for AlexNeptunes’ inactivity. The results are shown below:
